Doug Rougeux is an entertainer specializing in circus and theater performance. He is a graduate of Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey’s Clown College, Venice, FL and the University of Buffalo. Rougeux has appeared in two national tours with Ringling Bros. Circus, where he delighted audiences from Madison Square Garden to the Louisiana Superdome. He also toured with an improvisational theater troupe and Tales on Tour, a children’s storytelling group. He has performed in the United States and abroad. Rougeaux’s performances have been featured in CBS television specials, USA Today, Life magazine and “Ringling’s The Greatest Clown Acts of All Time”, a nationally released home video. He is a consummate entertainer for children of all ages, and his interactive performances are educational and engaging.

Bubblemania Pop Art!
Meets Early Childhood needs: Mr. Rougeux demonstrates how and why bubbles form and pop, and students are lead on an investigation of surface tension, evaporation, and gravity. He creates sculptures and uses storytelling with bubbles to encourage connections between reading, science and art. This program can only be offered indoors. (PreK-7)
