The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) Brass Quintet was formed in 1969 to engage students in exploring the educational benefits of the area's major symphony orchestra. This versatile group has performed full brass recitals, educa-tional concerts and commencement ceremonies for area high schools and colleges. Series appearances include the Rochester City Hall Atrium concerts, the Nazareth College concert series and Noontime at Hochstein broadcasts. Quintet members are: Douglas Prosser - trumpet; Wesley Nance - trumpet; David Angus - horn; Mark Kellogg - trombone; Craig Sutherland - tuba; and Herb Smith is a regular trumpet substitute. They are all active teachers and recitalists.

Technical Requirements

Artists will arrive 10 minutes before program start. Please provide 5 chairs, 5 music stands and a microphone where appropriate.
